despite working all weekend from 7am-7pm, I actually accomplished some very fun things.
Friday - worked all day, got home, showered and had an absolutely great time at the YMCA in Burlington at the local show. I didn't know much about the bands there, but the sitcom (www.thesitcom.ca) were playing and I am always down for an evening of debauchery with one Stephen Bailey and his rag-tag group of bandmates. The show by itself was surprisingly good, while there weren't a whole lot of people (the number probably hovered around 50 at the high points), the bands were generally alright. The Petit Project was very good as always and I recommend going to see them anytime it is available. I ended up doing merch for The Sitcom at the end of the night, while me myself purchased their cleverly marketed cd/t-shirt/hug package (Bailey is quite the hugger).after the show, I helped the Sitcom boys pack up and arrived home a little after 1, needing to be up for work by 5:45.
Saturday - worked all day again, however it went fairly slow, so there is no real complaint. In fact I was able to fuck off and catch a 20 minute nap which recharged my batteries for the upcoming day. Got home and just relaxed most of the night, watched a bunch of the Chappelle show DVD and some of the bonus stuff on NAtural Born Killers DVD. Got to bed a little after 11 and able to pull together a good sleep for once.
Sunday - worked all day, and by worked I mean slept in the tag shack for 45 minutes every two hours. So getting off work meant I was full of energy. I ended going to see "Wedding Crashers" with Karla, Maegan and Chris. I recommend it to everyone, it has the same great humour as all the Frat Pack (Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson, Will Ferrel, Ben Stiller and Jack Black) movies, which means some very good laughs and funny cameos ... I want to live like Chaz, he is my new god. Anyways, after the movies, just drove home and surfed the web for a few hours and hit the sack around 3am.
Also, I got the new Coheed and Cambria single "Welcome Home" on the e-card found here http://coheedandcambria.com/bitchin/top
